Frequently asked questions

Get the facts before your visit so you can get in and out quickly with your new tags, registrations, or notarized paperwork.

What do I need to bring for a vehicle title transfer?

To complete a title transfer, both buyer and seller typically must be present with valid government-issued photo IDs (such as a PA driver's license), the original vehicle title free of unreleased liens, and proof of current Pennsylvania auto insurance for the buyer.

Do I need an appointment, or can I walk in?

Walk-ins are welcome during our regular weekday business hours! You do not need an appointment to stop by. Please note that Saturday service is available by appointment only.

What paperwork is most commonly forgotten?

The three items customers forget most often are the original vehicle title, a valid driver's license or state ID, and an up-to-date proof of auto insurance. Checking these three items before you leave home will guarantee a smooth visit.

How long does a title transfer or notary service take?

Most standard tag, title, and notary transactions are completed in about 15 minutes when all required documents and IDs are provided. We pride ourselves on offering the fastest, friendliest service around.

I moved to PA and am financing my vehicle. How do I register it?

If your vehicle is financed or leased and your out-of-state lienholder holds the title, we can help! We request the title directly from your lienholder and have it sent to our office. Once received, we can process your Pennsylvania title and registration, issue your PA license plate and registration card, and ensure your lienholder is properly listed on the new Pennsylvania title.

How much does a title transfer with plates cost?

Total costs depend on PennDOT state fees, local county fees, applicable sales tax, and our service fee. Stop by our office or contact us directly with vehicle details for an exact quote on your transaction.

What payment methods do you accept?

For your convenience, we accept cash, credit/debit cards, Zelle, Cash App, and Apple Pay.

Do you offer bilingual support and mobile notary services?

Yes! We provide full bilingual service in both English and Spanish. We also offer convenient mobile notary services where our certified notary travels directly to your home, office, or hospital.
